  • Asylum granted for detained Cuban client in Arlington Immigration Court based on his fear of persecution because of his sexual orientation (2019).

  • Obtained custody and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) order in Charles County, Maryland Circuit Court for minor El Salvadoran client (2019). 

  • Cancellation of Removal for Non-Legal Permanent Residents granted for detained Honduran client in Arlington Immigration Court based on the hardship his removal would cause his three U.S. citizen daughters (2019).

  • Asylum granted for Honduran client in Arlington Immigration Court based on domestic violence she suffered from her former partner including a violent stabbing and attempted murder (2019).

  • Application for adjustment of status (green card) approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Venezuelan client based on a family petition from her U.S. citizen husband (2019). 

  • Asylum granted for El Salvadoran client in Baltimore Immigration Court based on threats she received from MS-13 gang members who were trying to forcibly recruit her son (2019).

  • Protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT) granted for detained El Salvadoran client in Baltimore Immigration Court  (2019). 

  • Asylum granted for Honduran client in Baltimore Immigration Court based on threats he and his brother received from the 18th street gang (2019).

  • Application for adjustment of status (green card) approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for El Salvadoran client based on a family petition from his Lawful Permanent Resident father (2019). 

  • Asylum granted for Guatemalan client in Arlington Immigration Court based on threats her family received from the Zetas cartel (2019).

  • Cancellation of Removal for Non-Legal Permanent Residents granted in Arlington Immigration Court for Honduran client based on the "exceptional and extremely unusual" hardship his U.S. citizen children, including a son who suffers from muscular dystrophy, would face if he were removed from the United States (2018). 

  • Protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT) granted for indigenous Miskito client in Baltimore Immigration Court  (2018). 

  • 212 (h) waiver granted for Jamaican client in Baltimore Immigration Court based on the extreme hardship his U.S. citizen wife and children would face if he were removed from the United States (2018).

  • Asylum granted for El Salvadoran client in Arlington Immigration Court based on death threats he received from the 18th street gang after his daughter refused gang members’ demands to become a gang “girlfriend” (2018).

  • Affirmative application for asylum approved at the Arlington Asylum Office for Turkish client based on his fear of political persecution (2018).

  • Application for adjustment of status (green card) approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for South Korean client based on her marriage to a U.S. citizen (2018).

  • Obtained custody and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) orders in Prince George's County, Maryland Circuit Court for minor Guatemalan client who was abandoned by both of his parents (2018).  

  • Humanitarian asylum granted for Guatemalan client in Baltimore Immigration Court based on the severity of past persecution she suffered in her home country including child abuse and rape (2018). 

  • ​​​Administrative closure of removal proceedings granted by Immigration Judge in Arlington Immigration Court for client to apply for a 601-A hardship waiver to pursue a family-based immigrant petition based on marriage to a U.S. citizen (2018). 

  • Secured lowest possible bond for detained client from Immigration Judge in Arlington Immigration Court (2017).  

  • Asylum granted in Baltimore Immigration Court for El Salvadoran client based on her fear of persecution for her political opinion and activism (2017). 

  • Obtained custody and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) orders for two minor El Salvadoran clients in Prince George's County, Maryland Circuit Court (2017). 

  • Application for adjustment of status (green card) approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Venezuelan client based on her marriage to a U.S. citizen (2017). 

  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) application approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Mexican client who entered the United States when he was 14 years old (2017).

  • Affirmative application for asylum approved at the Arlington Asylum Office for El Salvadoran client based on her fear of persecution by the MS-13 gang because of her family membership (2017).

  • Application for naturalization (citizenship) approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Guatemalan client (2017). 

  • Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petition approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Peruvian client who was abused by her U.S. citizen husband (2016).

  • Registered a foreign custody order and obtained Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) orders for three minor Guatemalan clients in Montgomery County, Maryland Circuit Court (2016). 

  • Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agreed to administratively close removal proceedings against Honduran client in Arlington Immigration Court (2016).

  • Asylum granted in Arlington Immigration Court for El Salvadoran mother and child clients based on their fear of domestic violence (2016).

  • Motion to Reopen a removal order granted by Baltimore Immigration Court for Honduran client who was not given notice of her removal hearing (2016).

  • Change of non-immigrant status from J-1 to F-1 granted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Turkish client (2016). 

  • Motion to Terminate removal proceedings granted for Guatemalan unaccompanied child migrant clients in Arlington Immigration Court due to improper service of the Notice to Appear (NTA) charging documents (2016). 

  • Won Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) Cancellation of Removal for detained Nicaraguan client in Arlington Immigration Court (2015).

  • Negative Reasonable Fear determination vacated by Baltimore Immigration Court for El Salvadoran client (2015).

  • Motion to Reopen a removal order granted by Baltimore Immigration Court for El Salvadoran client with six-year-old removal order, allowing her to successfully apply for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) (2015).

  • Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petition approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Filipina client who was abused by her U.S. citizen husband (2015).
